	Halifax Novice, Atom & PeeWee High-Performance Elite Hockey School August 16 – 20 Halifax Forum To maximize individual attention, every group will be limited to 24 players and 3 goaltenders. Novice is open to players (born 2002/2003) that played at the Novice Intermediate or Advanced level and have a year of Novice remaining. Atom and PeeWee. This school is open to AAA/AA/A/B type players at the Atom (born 2000/2001) and PeeWee (born 1998/99) levels. This school is for competitive players that strive to be at the AAA/AA level. The schools are geared to rep players and are not by invitation but we will suggest them to players we think will benefit from them. The school will consist of 3 hours on-ice training each day and one high level off-ice session each day. The school will focus on the basic skills of skating, puckhandling, passing and shooting. In addition, the school is designed to stress the individual fundamental skills and systems-related aspects critical for a player to become an accomplished Defenceman, Forward, or Goaltender. Separate defence, forward and goaltender drills will be conducted for each age group. At times, defencemen, forwards, and goaltenders will work apart and at times together. Off-ice sessions are hockey-specific and add immeasurably to the development of serious players at the elite level. This school will be high intensity with challenging sessions and will feature senior instructors with experience at the Bantam/Midget "AAA" and Junior levels.
